Parent's Corner
At Sri Ramakrishna Boys Matric Higher Secondary School, we believe that parents and teachers are partners in shaping the child’s future. A strong home–school connection helps students grow with confidence, discipline, and academic success. This section provides essential guidelines and responsibilities to support parents in their involvement with the school.
Parent Responsibilities
Parents play an important role in supporting their child’s progress. We request every parent to:
- Send children to school regularly and punctually.
- Ensure children complete their homework neatly and daily.
- Pay school fees on time as per the schedule.
- Encourage children to speak politely, maintain discipline, and follow school rules.
- Provide a signed leave letter whenever the child is absent.
- Attend Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs) without fail.
- Communicate any concerns regarding the child’s behaviour, health, or academic progress to the school.
Guidelines for Parents
To maintain consistency in a child’s growth and behaviour:
- Encourage children to maintain cleanliness and good manners.
- Ensure students come to school in proper uniform, neatly dressed.
- Provide nutritious food and maintain regular sleep routines.
- Help children organise their books, notebooks, and timetable.
- Avoid frequent absence unless necessary.
- Refrain from discussing school matters negatively in front of children.
- Motivate children to participate in school activities, sports, competitions, and celebrations.
Parent–Teacher Relationship
We value a close and cooperative relationship with parents to enhance each child’s learning experience.
Our Expectations:
- Parents and guardians are always welcome to visit the school office for any necessary information or guidance.
- We encourage open communication between parents and teachers through scheduled meetings.
- Parents are members of the school’s parent community and play a key role in supporting discipline and academic progress at home.
- Cooperation between parents and teachers ensures that learning continues both in school and at home.
Visiting Hours
To ensure smooth functioning of academic activities:
- Parents can meet the Principal or Vice-Principal between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. on all working days.
- Parents should not meet teachers during class hours, as it disrupts teaching.
- For emergencies or urgent matters, appointments may be requested through the school office.
We appreciate parents respecting these guidelines to maintain discipline and uninterrupted learning.
